Yamaha has been making low cost classical guitars for new guitarists and intermediate students. Although I don’t suggest building your entire technique on a cheap classical guitar, if you are looking to spend under $400 then I strongly recommend you to buy a Yamaha Classical Guitar.
My first guitar was a Yamaha and it was just good enough for a couple years. It was a way to simply play music and have something to do.
Yamaha is the only brand I suggest for new classical players or parents on a tight budget. Yamaha is definitely the best cheap classical guitar company you can buy from.
